Bands are each board's own overall-GPA groupings of passed students, shown with their closest letter-grade equivalents โ they are not individual subject grades. F is the number of examinees who did not pass. Figures are drawn directly from each board's own Result Analytics report. *GPA 1.x for this board/year is calculated as the remainder of passed students after the other bands, because the source report did not print a count for this band. For one or more boards, the five bands as printed in the source report add up to a few students fewer than the 'Passed' figure in the board table above.

Understanding the 2023 Result Data
A pass rate and a GPA-5 count measure different aspects of performance. The pass rate shows the proportion of examinees who met the minimum requirements, while the GPA-5 count shows how many students reached the highest overall grade point average.
For board comparison, both percentages and absolute figures are useful. This archive therefore keeps both totals and percentages wherever comparable data are available.
